Sunblocks and sunscreens are a staple in my everyday wear. I stopped wearing those bb creams or any kind of foundation ever since I decided to stick to a really good sunblock. Basically, I only started to rely on sunblock when I finally found my favorite high-SPF product that didn't leave a white cast or make me oil up so bad after trying so many products.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It was only 2 years ago when I discovered the <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2011/08/kose-suncut-uv-spf-50-protect-milk.html" target="_blank"><b>Kose Suncut Essence UV Protect Milk SPF50 PA+++</b></a> and my love for wearing sunblock began. Ever since then, I stopped using bb creams since they only really gave me max SPF35 and I don't like that with most bb creams its hard find a good shade that lasts.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Unfortunately, buying this exclusively online and internationally is taking a toll on my pockets. <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2011/08/sasacom-ii-asian-skincare-brands-haul.html" target="_blank">I buy my Kose Suncut from Sasa.com</a> twice a year, and I usually get the "USD$70 purchase for free shipping". And even if the Kose only costs a little under P250.00, getting it here is such a pain. I'm looking into trying brands that I can source out locally<br />
<br />
2 weeks ago I was at <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2013/09/event-chocolate-festival-eastwood-mall.html" target="_blank">Eastwood to attend the Chocolate Festival</a> and I chanced upon this bazaar that sold Korean skincare and makeup products. And I saw this!</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L-uZPCzqA7g/Uj6-nbCW7VI/AAAAAAAADTI/vIEMVfW9wHI/s1600/3W+Clinic+Intensive+UV+Sunblock+Cream+SPF50+PA%252B%252B%252B+korean+sunblock+best+korea+sunscreen+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-L-uZPCzqA7g/Uj6-nbCW7VI/AAAAAAAADTI/vIEMVfW9wHI/s640/3W+Clinic+Intensive+UV+Sunblock+Cream+SPF50+PA%252B%252B%252B+korean+sunblock+best+korea+sunscreen+1.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
I was immediately intrigued and the lovely Korean lady (the owner, I guess) helped me test it out along with various cosmetics that she tried to make me buy hahaha she was so cute, like a mama-uljzzang!<br />
<br />
How I usually know if it's good enough a product to check out:<br />
<br />
> <b><i>Availability and accessibility of product: </i></b>The seller is a Korean woman that wants to setup shop here in Manila and she seemed to have a lot of 3W Sunblock! She was even surprised that I knew 3W, since she tried selling it out but nobody wanted it as much, since most buyers only know the popular Korean brands that have set up flagship shops here in the Philippines. She told me she used 3W as well!<br />
<br />
><b> <i>Check for the right ingredients and product claims:</i></b><i> </i>Immediately I checked for SPF, PA, UVA and UVB and it's a yes, yes, yes, yes! Since using Kose with its SPF 50 PA+++ I can't settle for less anymore. Whenever I wear SPF 30 I kinda always felt like it wasn't enough of a protection, especially when I go out midday. The ingredients seemed to be in Korean, though.<br />
<br />
> <i><b>Test the product if it's something you want to put on daily and for skin suitability:</b> </i>I was able to get a hold of their testers, and I was very wary since at first I saw it was a cream type, and for two years I was used to water type sunblocks that don't feel heavy at all. But when I tried to spread it out, I was very happy to note that this was incredibly easy to spread and seemed more watery than it first belied. I tested it on a patch of my inner arm and my neck as well and experienced no weird thing after 5 mins which is enough for me.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rfwFsezp6M0/Uj6-mywDA3I/AAAAAAAADTE/kLD4Q8ZxjTk/s1600/3W+Clinic+Intensive+UV+Sunblock+Cream+SPF50+PA%252B%252B%252B+korean+sunblock+best+korea+sunscreen+0.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rfwFsezp6M0/Uj6-mywDA3I/AAAAAAAADTE/kLD4Q8ZxjTk/s640/3W+Clinic+Intensive+UV+Sunblock+Cream+SPF50+PA%252B%252B%252B+korean+sunblock+best+korea+sunscreen+0.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So far, after 2 weeks of using the product, the only thing I regret is not buying another tube. I use it religiously whether I'm going to work or going for a quick trip to the supermarket.<br />
<br />
PROs:<br />
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Keeps skin protected and moisturized</li>
<li>No scent at all</li>
<li>Easy to use and to spread on the face</li>
<li>Cream type but more milky and watery</li>
<li>Maybe a good makeup base for those of you looking for high SPF makeup base</li>
<li>VERY AFFORDABLE: PHP190.00 (USD4.00)</li>
<li>Lasts for 8 HOURS! (I tested indoors, a/c room)</li>
<ul>
<li>Lasts for 4.5 HOURS! (running around, commuting)</li>
</ul>
<li>Available locally in independent shops</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div>
CONs:<br />
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Slightly dewy finish (need to powder sometimes?)</li>
<li>Not buildable (if you're looking for that, this one does not pile up, since it's watery)</li>
</ul>
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Voila! No white cast</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Has a slightly dewy finish that I like (so I don't look like I have dry skin) but my face is oily so I have to set with powder maybe? But not as much of a big deal, yaaay!<br />

<br />
<br />
When Greencross posted that image banner of the Chocolate Festival on my wall, my soul was seize with an inexplicable feeling of destiny!
and a low, rumbling, thundering voice replaced my high-pitched ones...<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><i>"<b>I MUST GO! I SHALL EAT THE FOOD OF MY PEOPLE...</b>" </i></span><br />
<br />
<br />
So we went! :D<br />
<br />
<br />
In transit, I was so EXCITED because I thought it was my first time at Eastwood. Do'h! I kinda forgot I actually have been there. Double do'h! I was there 2 years ago with Greencross and Kazama, during one of our wedding video editing sessions. I remembered that we ate at Johnny Rockets (Dancing Johnny Rockets staff was still a novelty to me that time that I sported a big stupid grin on my face as I saw them bust a groove in front of me!) but, to be clear, it was still my first time to go inside Eastwood Mall! <br />
<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Saw LINE posters at some of the mall benches and just had to take a picture. <br />
Sporting my Monster Hunter 4 shirt that I've been wearing like crazy. Yea... I don't think it has been washed.</td></tr>

<br />
<br />
The Chocolate Festival is sponsored by the Eastwood City / Megaworld Lifestyle Mall to celebrate and promote chocolate products all over the world. During the event, should you decide to buy the chocolates from various Eastwood Mall shops (PHP 500 minimum purchase) you will be given a chocolate bar as a reward! Your receipt can also get you the Golden Ticket to the Chocolate Buffet.<br />
<br />
We were only able to buy TWO things:<br />
<br />
1. A bar of dark chocolate brownie (PHP 65) This looked so fluffy that it betrayed its RICH and DARK taste. I can almost taste the native cocoa used to make this.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gJFlLbHVn9o/Ui2gAeP66yI/AAAAAAAADRE/EfgNb4FPyGE/s1600/Chocolate+Festival+Eastwood+Manila+Event+2013+9.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gJFlLbHVn9o/Ui2gAeP66yI/AAAAAAAADRE/EfgNb4FPyGE/s640/Chocolate+Festival+Eastwood+Manila+Event+2013+9.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
2. Caramel moist cake (PHP 90) And this is soooo good. It's perfect and fudgy and the caramel tasted fine (a lot of caramel tastes burnt! Yeccch!)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yz6IYteJEgg/Ui2f3ZjascI/AAAAAAAADQE/F7Gozxc3ohM/s1600/Chocolate+Festival+Eastwood+Manila+Event+2013+3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yz6IYteJEgg/Ui2f3ZjascI/AAAAAAAADQE/F7Gozxc3ohM/s640/Chocolate+Festival+Eastwood+Manila+Event+2013+3.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Aside from ready-to-eat chocolate, there were also some raw chocolate products displayed from Malagos Garden. I love this farm because they're originally from Davao (Wut up, Davao! Represent!) and I used to have field trips at their farm when I was in grade school. It's amazing what they're doing with their brand. They have become export-quality and have become one of the top-selling chocolate producers in the country.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-V7bp7C1uOIk/Ui2f41HOVbI/AAAAAAAADQU/rekvEtwxtNs/s1600/Chocolate+Festival+Eastwood+Manila+Event+2013+4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-V7bp7C1uOIk/Ui2f41HOVbI/AAAAAAAADQU/rekvEtwxtNs/s640/Chocolate+Festival+Eastwood+Manila+Event+2013+4.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
There's something about GOURMET CHOCOLATES that makes my heart melt. It's their smallness and delicate-looking designs that makes me want to om nom nom nom. It's my first time to hear about RISA Chocolates but I guess they've been famous for quite a bit of time. I was at their booth and saw newspaper and magazine clippings from famous media names. I wouldn't be surprised... I mean, look at these wonderful things!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
RISA chocolates reminded me of the PRINCESS ELIZABETH gourmet chocolates from Japan that I've eaten a couple of years back. It was so good that I still remember their brand.<br />
<br />
<br />
Here are some more shots of the chocolates that I've coveted during the Chocolate Festival (but was too poor to buy!)<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Hello!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I've been MIA for a bit of time now. I haven't been busy, just really lazy! (Is that better or worse? LOL) I CBA to open blogger sometimes. A couple of days ago, my <strike>fans</strike> friends gently reminded me of the reviews that I need to share with them.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I'd like to introduce you to the face wash I <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-review-of-rakutencom-online-shopping.html" target="_blank">ordered online from Rakuten</a> :) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T4BKbADf2ZU/Uh-bnbTRBmI/AAAAAAAADKI/qnSWbiYAXVw/s1600/0.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-T4BKbADf2ZU/Uh-bnbTRBmI/AAAAAAAADKI/qnSWbiYAXVw/s1600/0.png" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NZcVZhZpT_U/Uf7xx_BQ2YI/AAAAAAAADHk/goHi1_FuNC8/s1600/Rohto+Shirachasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+rakuten+order.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NZcVZhZpT_U/Uf7xx_BQ2YI/AAAAAAAADHk/goHi1_FuNC8/s1600/Rohto+Shirachasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+rakuten+order.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
If you're huge on Asian skin care products, you've probably already heard about Rohto laboratories. I think they're the bees knees. They always seem to offer lots of products that are very effective. Before I even knew of this product, my sister was already using Rohto Hada Labo Tamagohada face wash, which we used to wash our face with 2-3x daily. It was my first Japanese face wash, I think and I've always liked it. Shirochasou was also a gift from my sister when she came back from Japan a couple of months back.<br />
<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">My beat-up looking Shirochasou! I've been using this as my ONLY face wash for 4 months now.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
This is my favorite face wash to date! I love love love it. And when I started worrying that my tube of face was was about to empty out, I searched high and low for an online shop that carried this product. Unfortunately, I had to depend on <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-review-of-rakutencom-online-shopping.html" target="_blank">international online shops like Rakuten</a>. I immediately bought 2 pieces!<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Full Sized Rohto Shirochasou</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
What I like about this face wash:<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinGg7-OcmyK9KQqIfVvGCTOJSm_a-hLn9m2fQTVy9MpYjrIxcXF57rESr3lPGTGjLu10E3sPTF8QQ2b7Q6J_o7CyWTtXChVsdSjB-dYBO9XfXP95icTbwIr77FB2rSXUp-_m4CyjSCmQY/s1600/1.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="40" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinGg7-OcmyK9KQqIfVvGCTOJSm_a-hLn9m2fQTVy9MpYjrIxcXF57rESr3lPGTGjLu10E3sPTF8QQ2b7Q6J_o7CyWTtXChVsdSjB-dYBO9XfXP95icTbwIr77FB2rSXUp-_m4CyjSCmQY/s320/1.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
It's perfect if you have oily skin and there's a lot of sebum production. It doesn't really dry out the skin. I noticed that somehow that my face immediately after washing still feels supple / silky to the touch.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mMtRMS-GEv8/Uh-Q7z4ftGI/AAAAAAAADJs/9110xPlR4JQ/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="40" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mMtRMS-GEv8/Uh-Q7z4ftGI/AAAAAAAADJs/9110xPlR4JQ/s320/2.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Because I don't use foundation, bb/cc cream I always have the problem of removing the sunscreen I use daily. Here's how to know if your face still has sunscreen:<br />
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"<span style="background-color: #f1f1f1; color: #222222; font-family: verdana, arial, 'trebuchet ms', sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17.25px;">If the water droplets on your skin look very round and bubble-like (like how water droplets look on a water-proof or oily surface), then you probably still have traces of sunscreen on your skin.</span>" ~ info by: <a href="http://www.skinacea.com/faq/sunscreen/s13-cleanser-remove-sunscreen.html#.Uh-OIjanrpU" target="_blank">Skincea</a> </blockquote>
<br />
After washing my face I do the water test and verify that I don't see round/bubble droplets!</div>
<div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sEThLx4MpDI/UiTMq174wiI/AAAAAAAADKY/yBhP5s9WlgA/s1600/rohto+shirochasou+review+3.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="40" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sEThLx4MpDI/UiTMq174wiI/AAAAAAAADKY/yBhP5s9WlgA/s320/rohto+shirochasou+review+3.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<br />
It's so foamy! WARNING: Produces a lot of suds!!!! Don't squeeze out too much because you'd find yourself with more cream than you know what to do with!</div>
<div>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_FfL2NyeQBg/Uf7xyNV075I/AAAAAAAADH0/III3wR359GQ/s1600/Rohto+Shirochasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+actual.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_FfL2NyeQBg/Uf7xyNV075I/AAAAAAAADH0/III3wR359GQ/s320/Rohto+Shirochasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+actual.jpg" width="257" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Take a small amount first. Above is what I usually take to clean my face and my neck.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Washing my face is something I don't forget. I wash my face while taking a bath, after I go home from work, and another before I go to sleep. I've even proven that I just can't sleep without washing my face first! It icks me so bad that no matter how sleepy I am, I force myself to get up and wash!<br />

<br />
I wanted to test the cleansing power of the Shirochasou foam. I wanted to get an eyeshadow or eyeliner but it turns out I actually don't have one! Ugh. But I did have a sharpie... So I went ahead and swiped the ink on my wrist.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jQxL95Nq8Ak/Uf7x0GIx-jI/AAAAAAAADIQ/ydctU9lwTng/s1600/Rohto+Shirochasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+review.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-jQxL95Nq8Ak/Uf7x0GIx-jI/AAAAAAAADIQ/ydctU9lwTng/s320/Rohto+Shirochasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+review.jpg" width="270" /></a></div>
<br />
I took some Shirochashou and gently applied it on the stain. Woah. I liked what I saw! Please remember this is actually a permanent marker hee hee hee.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5LoSEh8HYt0/Uf7x0dWnYfI/AAAAAAAADIU/6_9_ntdrHU0/s1600/Rohto+Shirochasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+test.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5LoSEh8HYt0/Uf7x0dWnYfI/AAAAAAAADIU/6_9_ntdrHU0/s320/Rohto+Shirochasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+test.jpg" width="278" /></a><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wzZcYnHlqp0/Uf7xxXxepRI/AAAAAAAADHY/2DFRdu7_e1I/s1600/Rohto+Shirachasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+test+skin.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wzZcYnHlqp0/Uf7xxXxepRI/AAAAAAAADHY/2DFRdu7_e1I/s320/Rohto+Shirachasou+face+wash+White+Green+Tea+test+skin.jpg" width="269" /></a></div>
<br />
So as far as cleaning goes it its really really good! My verdict for the Rohto Shirochasou face wash is:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-r96oFFyHeJ4/UiTPHs9mQZI/AAAAAAAADKk/XYDhJ1Ro8ZA/s1600/rohto+shirochasou+review+4.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="67" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-r96oFFyHeJ4/UiTPHs9mQZI/AAAAAAAADKk/XYDhJ1Ro8ZA/s320/rohto+shirochasou+review+4.PNG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
!!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Despite it not being sold locally, I would rather buy it cheaply from an international seller. PROTIP: It's best to buy 2-3 pieces in one go to save on shipping. Your bulk order will last you for at least 6-9months depending on frequency of usage.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Thanks for reading!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy labor day (to US people!) Happy normal day (to everyone else!)</div>

Hello guys!
<br />
I'm back with a <strike>vengeance</strike> parcel.<br />
<br />
Life has been pretty great so far in Manila! But last week I've been bored and looking around for something to do in our place aside from checking out new music, talking to my family via <a href="http://line.naver.jp/en/" target="_blank">LINE</a>, reading what's left of my books, playing 3DS, sketching. Sometimes I get the itch to try something new.<br />
<br />
So... <b>RAKUTEN </b>(lol I don't get it why I landed here, too.)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-njqIdPEafRs/Ufh_1dnMe4I/AAAAAAAADDY/2H8gsw-3-as/s1600/Screen+Shot+2013-07-31+at+10.56.06+AM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Rakuten.com online order" border="0" height="382" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-njqIdPEafRs/Ufh_1dnMe4I/AAAAAAAADDY/2H8gsw-3-as/s640/Screen+Shot+2013-07-31+at+10.56.06+AM.png" title="How to order at Rakuten" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Have you tried <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-review-of-rakutencom-online-shopping.html" target="_blank">ordering at <b>Rakuten</b></a>? There's not a lot of info on ordering from here compared to other sites like Sasa.com, Adambeauty, Yesstyle etc., but I found out that prices here are quite cheaper than all those sites!<br />
<br />
I've only previously ordered internationally via Sasa.com, HK's biggest online shop. So here's the rundown:<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #f4cccc; font-size: large;">RAKUTEN vs. SASA.COM</span></b><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Ease of use: </b></span>It's easy peasy to order at Sasa.com, very straightforward, and almost 100% English; Rakuten.com needs a lot of getting used to. Registration forms are a little daunting to fill, too. I've encountered several error messages (in Japanese, no less!) and if I couldn't read Hiragana/Katakana I would have been at a loss. Product descriptions may also be displayed in Japanese, or only broken English at best, which is sometimes really annoying.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Product availability</b>:</span> Rakuten.com is more substantial in their Beauty, Cosmetics section since it has a lot more sellers that offer a variety of products, whereas Sasa.com is the seller itself (we're pitting them as fair as possible here since Sasa.com is exclusively skincare/cosmetics/accessories)<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Price</b></span>: Rakuten wins hands down. Well that's stemming from what products I could compare! For instance, a 30ml Kose Suncut SPF 50+++ is priced at P215 ($5-6) at Sasa.com, while at Rakuten.com it's P170 ($3-4).<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><b>Shipping</b>: </span>There's only one shipping method used, and that's EMS. They have a <a href="http://global.rakuten.com/en/help/shipping/" target="_blank">"per-gram" shipping chart </a>to guide you on what shipping fee to expect. I understand why EMS gets a bad rep for being one of the most expensive courier option. It's my first time, too, to try EMS on my own but I've never been happier and more content!<br />
<br />
Look at me with my parcel containing my <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-review-of-rakutencom-online-shopping.html" target="_blank">Rakuten online order</a>. Happy face not in picture! :(<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gIqk7fHkQyI/Ufh6q4a5lwI/AAAAAAAADDA/oY3w97uuffQ/s1600/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.07+PM+%232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="My online order from Rakuten arrived" border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gIqk7fHkQyI/Ufh6q4a5lwI/AAAAAAAADDA/oY3w97uuffQ/s400/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.07+PM+%232.jpg" title="How to order online in Rakuten" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
It was shipped wayyyyyyy faster than the <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2011/07/beauty-product-orders-have-arrived-good.html" target="_blank">international online order at Sasa.com</a> (and even that other batch of <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2011/08/sasacom-ii-asian-skincare-brands-haul.html" target="_blank">order in our Sasa.com parcel</a> with my former co-workers) but it was probably because we took advantage of a free shipping promo (for completed transaction worth more than $230 / PHP3,000) we didn't know that the free shipping option used the HK mail delivery (2-3 weeks depending on your location), rather than EMS expedited shipping (7-10 business days).<br />
<br />
I've set my trust on Sasa.com for good service / successful deliveries, so I needed to build trust with Rakuten, too.<br />
<br />
<i>So, I ordered face wash!</i><br />
<br />
Yep.<br />
<br />
(But- but- but- it's not an ordinary face wash! It's my favorite Japanese face wash in the WORLD huehuehuehue!)<br />
<br />
I just mainly wanted to try out Rakuten first without spending too much and getting disappointed if the service turned out sucky. Imagine forking over $200 for bad service, product disappointment, or worse, the probability lost parcel?! (Try as I might, I could NEVER locate my Sasa.com parcel with the tracking no. that they gave me) So to try Rakuten out, I needed to start with something small.<br />
<br />
Luckily, I found that my favorite face wash, <b>Rohto Shirochasou Green Tea Foam</b> was being sold by a seller in Rakuten for $4 (!!!) It made me go "WOAH GETTT!!" In the brick and mortar stores here in the city, a tube of this costs about $10 (wtf ripoff) and I almost bought it, too, when I worried about running out of this face wash that my sister gave to me 3 months ago upon her arrival from Japan.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BKdHNi6glyM/Ufh6gro1KZI/AAAAAAAADCo/B2JMO9vL5gQ/s1600/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.14+PM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="rakuten beauty goods" border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BKdHNi6glyM/Ufh6gro1KZI/AAAAAAAADCo/B2JMO9vL5gQ/s400/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.14+PM.jpg" title="ordering online at rakuten" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Um, thumbs down to too much bubble wrap. It's not environmentally friendly ~.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Here's the face wash. These are really good. I never feel clean if I don't use it after I get home from work. And for some reason I get the feeling these are my only defense against pimples / ravaged face.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3rGdaU6MISbpnyfkmhNff67HG3SMrPpTN3NKxpjfdMrbcrxNdPFuSVv4pxy6-d517vHpDp3rcu8tZ0E2qEZkT-uzAG70WBJjI8UT_rW5pF_pofrUMllRqjtuoOLxDSWiHNMum775pw2A/s1600/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.15+PM+%234.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Rohto Shiro chasou green tea face wash" border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3rGdaU6MISbpnyfkmhNff67HG3SMrPpTN3NKxpjfdMrbcrxNdPFuSVv4pxy6-d517vHpDp3rcu8tZ0E2qEZkT-uzAG70WBJjI8UT_rW5pF_pofrUMllRqjtuoOLxDSWiHNMum775pw2A/s400/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.15+PM+%234.jpg" title="Rohto Shiro chasou wash" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I get barely 4 hours of sleep most days of the week, eat at erratic hours (if I get too absorbed at work, I skip lunch / dinner time altogether which has happened more times than I could count. My breakfast is usually only Fruit Loops, or a piece of wheat bread, weak green tea, or milk) and I'm exposed to all kinds of pollution since I walk to and from work. Cherry on the disaster cake: I work <b>nights</b>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RNcBfpr1NI4/Ufh6klEQbFI/AAAAAAAADCw/Vm9DAOa9OGE/s1600/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.15+PM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Rohto Shirochasou face wash" border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RNcBfpr1NI4/Ufh6klEQbFI/AAAAAAAADCw/Vm9DAOa9OGE/s400/Photo+on+7-30-13+at+12.15+PM.jpg" title="Rohto Shirochasou face wash" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Below is a snap of my tired, worn-out and almost depleted Rohto Shirochasou. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RgFBePFLZhA/Ufh68Z5RtGI/AAAAAAAADDI/BT9r_67ujxk/s1600/704797_204401446385909_200961257_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Rohto Shirochasou green tea wash" border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-RgFBePFLZhA/Ufh68Z5RtGI/AAAAAAAADDI/BT9r_67ujxk/s400/704797_204401446385909_200961257_o.jpg" title="Rohto Shirochasou green tea face wash" width="297" /></a></div>
<br />
This was given to me 3 months ago from big sister (It should last for a long time but me and Greencross use it 2-3x daily.) My sister wanted me to try a
new face wash after giving me the Hada Labo Tamagohada face wash. We're
both big on face cleanliness! I'm lucky she understands my need to have
a clean face. Because pretty face "<" clean face yeah!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="color: orange; font-size: x-large;"><b style="background-color: black;"><a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-review-of-rakutencom-online-shopping.html" target="_blank">How to order at Rakuten.com</a></b></span></div>
<br />
It's relatively the same as any online shop. You search / choose your product, click on Add to Cart, then proceed to Checkout when you're ready to pay!<br />
<br />
Before you pay, you're going to be asked if you have an account (if you haven't logged in) or if you want to register. When processing my order, I actually didn't register on their site. I just used the Non-Member option:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWI9D-4AdOVITkCO-ltTOEw-JwyjxNTAQwyiRwebwhJNCmGjiPyX_eo8kkNSfyd1meRffr4Lg-P7crsBThJ1n0ZKvIZrw58f-NK2QQtLlMKcy2EbG7kG217stWFGuorfkv7dyhr3hyphenhyphenEyE/s1600/ordering+at+rakuten.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWI9D-4AdOVITkCO-ltTOEw-JwyjxNTAQwyiRwebwhJNCmGjiPyX_eo8kkNSfyd1meRffr4Lg-P7crsBThJ1n0ZKvIZrw58f-NK2QQtLlMKcy2EbG7kG217stWFGuorfkv7dyhr3hyphenhyphenEyE/s1600/ordering+at+rakuten.png" /></a></div>
I encourage you to actually register for an account. They have these points system that gets you rewards and freebies, I guess. But using Rakuten as a guest, it will be more or less smooth sailing. I filled out their online form for shipping and payment details. And also, I used a credit card, so I can't say if other payment methods are more tedious.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #f4cccc; font-size: large;">VERY IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE ORDERING:</span></b><br />
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>If ordering multiple items, make sure that you're buying from ONE SELLER. I cannot stress this enough. If you buy X product and Y product from 2 different sellers, you're going to have to fork over 2x shipping, d'oh! I almost made that mistake.</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>Here's the thing about shipping fees: It gets added to your total bill right, so you won't actually know yet the actual shipping costs even once you close the deal, you just rely on the seller to finalize and give you an invoice in the form of a Rakuten seller's email. The bad thing about this is when you're doing bulk purchase and there's a lot of items there and you're gonna have some surprise at the end of the transaction about total weight in grams. The good thing is that sellers stick to the "shipping fee guide" chart (from earlier), and my personal experience with the seller, they are quite honest and won't jack up the shipping fee.</li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>You will be charged immediately upon order finalization, even BEFORE the seller confirms your payment / processes your order. </li>
</ul>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>You will receive <b>3</b> emails. <i>First</i> is for confirmation that you have voluntarily made a transaction on Rakuten, this gets sent upon finalizing checkout payment methods. The <i>second</i> one is your total bill with detailed weight check and final price check. The <i>final </i>email should then include the EMS details, like tracking code</li>
</ul>
<div>
And yes, all of the emails are in JAPANESE:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRgKkK5oX8VlC2QxXhiUHQsCeN4t7SoN12Gb4Z_1VgoIlDgnYvypTiUvlQDDk3pKaF3KhHd7aBmFj3qWRtkKiBC-oDH84Y00JCC5jRYAjA7J6TX3qvXshZm87baAiD27v07IihgvDvavQ/s1600/orders+rakuten+seller+email.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="271" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRgKkK5oX8VlC2QxXhiUHQsCeN4t7SoN12Gb4Z_1VgoIlDgnYvypTiUvlQDDk3pKaF3KhHd7aBmFj3qWRtkKiBC-oDH84Y00JCC5jRYAjA7J6TX3qvXshZm87baAiD27v07IihgvDvavQ/s400/orders+rakuten+seller+email.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<br />
Don't fret. There is no need to reply. But if you have a question, you will not be able to talk to the Rakuten customer service contact center; You have to directly message the seller. All dealings are between the buyer and the seller.<br />
<br />
In the email, all you just need to confirm are the personal details that you previously entered (name, address, total bill, credit card number, etc.). Or that's what I did anyway. Better yet, you could use a Chrome browser to enable the auto-translate feature to decrypt Japanese characters to English (broken English, but NEVERTHELESS, it's English! <span class="st">仕方が無い! Can't be helped, ok?</span>).<br />
<br />
So you can see there in the Email images I screencapped for you, that I processed the order <b>July 25 11:20 AM</b>, and I received the parcel in good faith on <b>July 30, 11:59 AM</b>!!!! And delivered to me straight to our condo<i> (I paid PHP <b>PHP70</b> to the post man ---PHP50 for the customs fee, PHP20 as a tip.)</i><br />
<br />
All in all, despite my irritation at Japanglish / Engrish product descriptions and random Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji error messages, I thought that for the first try, <span style="color: #b45f06;"><b>Rakuten certainly delivere</b><b>d</b></span>!<br />

I don't have friends here in Manila yet, and it's hard to find kindred spirits if you keep odd hours and don't get out as much. Staying in during the Saturdays and Sundays don't do me good because I always get restless; I mean, hey, I have every reason to look forward to the weekend--I'm on the night shift team and it's not always really great at the office because work is quite intense! I think I deserve some fun, light-hearted things to do!<br />
<br />
The only thing is I hate spending too much. Seriously, I get the hives when I spend a lot on non-essential things in life. <b><span style="color: #38761d;">Greencross</span><span style="color: #0c343d;"> </span></b>is considerate enough to always take me somewhere, even for a walk around the block, or to the nearest mall and eat some ice cream. In this city where exorbitant living is required to have fun, we're breaking the mold and pushing the envelope in the attempt to have good, clean fun without breaking the bank!<br />
<br />
Here's some nice things I enjoyed over the weekend:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://planetslate.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/2013-eiga-sai-flyer-1.jpg?w=440&h=240&crop=1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="174" src="http://planetslate.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/2013-eiga-sai-flyer-1.jpg?w=440&h=240&crop=1" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<span id="goog_799626281"></span><span id="goog_799626282"></span><b>Eiga Sai 2013</b> - <b>Free event!</b> This annual event sponsored by The Japan Foundation, Manila has always been a tradition for me and my friends back in my hometown. This year, I have <b><span style="color: #38761d;">Greencross </span></b>to accompany me (but I'm no stranger to watching the big screen alone, as pathetic as that may sound haha!) and went to Shangri-La Plaza.<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
My favorite movies from Eiga Sai 2013:<br />
* Confessions<br />
* Rinco's Restaurant<br />

When we got to Cineplex, there was some guy who was being a big asshole, pushing his way in in the most gruff manner to get inside the cinema immediately. I felt really sorry for the guard and attendants who were in his way. How vexing, and how utterly rude!<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Grocery Promos</b> - We do quick grocery shoppings during the weekends for our weekly food staples. Though we shop at an upscale mall, we always do our best to keep the things we buy as cheap as possible! It's always a happy time for us to do the groceries. It's also fun to shop at Rustan's because there's so many "free taste" things and promo activities, too.<br />
<br />
Last Saturday, there's was the Oreo Challenge promo (which wasn't so much as a challenge, really.) and I won some Oreo cookies and Oreo notepads. It made me happy hahaha! Here's a collage from photos taken by <b><span style="color: #274e13;">Greencross</span></b>:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/98549804@N03/9231659008/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title="image by BungakuShoujo, on Flickr"><img alt="image" height="500" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3766/9231659008_1441042b48.jpg" width="375" /></a></div>
<br />
Last Sunday was a bit of a downtime for me, because I was quite beat for some reason. I wasn't feeling very chirpy but I guess it happens. I looked at Greencross engrossed in his game and was envious that he has Guild Wars 2 to enjoy and I didn't (I have a character but we only have one PC so most of the time he plays)! All I got are some cutesy games so I was feeling like I needed something fun, too!<br />
<br />
<b>Play On! Bought a Video game</b>: I've missed playing videogames SO MUCH. These past few years it's all MMORPGS, but they don't have the same quality as platform RPGS (single player ones, yeah I'm a lonewolf like that (/////_-) lol!) I may not have a PlayStation or an Xbox unit anymore, but there's always the 3DS! I've decided on <b>Fire Emblem: Awakening</b> for a month now after having played a demo version; I was just waiting for the right time to strike (read: price drop!) But the need to grew too much for me so yeah, I got this brand new spankin' cartridge!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/98549804@N03/9231658820/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" title="image by BungakuShoujo, on Flickr"><img alt="image" height="400" src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3683/9231658820_8154284c4a.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
It's not very cheapskate with the price tag of P1,750 BUT! It's <b>hours </b>upon <b>hours </b>of gaming, sidequests, character development, awesome dialogue, adventures, frustration, happy things and such! And if gaming reviews are not mistaken, Fire Emblem: Awakening has an amazing "replayability" to it! So yeah, I'm excited for that. I really, really miss video games.<br />
<br />
So that's it! My weekends are pretty eventful around here, if you're to call it that. I'm a simple girl of simple means or maybe mababaw lang kaligayahan ko, but yeah, any excuse to have fun and enjoy the good things in life is what I love best!<br />
<br />
Thanks for reading~<br />
See you next post!<br />

Hello!<br />
<br />
I'd like to share to you my new favorite chocolate drink. There's lots of competition in the market, but for me this is THE BEST drink that I've ever tasted and I thought that I should share this to anyone who reads this post; random people looking for really good chocolate drinks!<br />
<br />
I saw this <b>Choco Chug chocolate milk drink </b>in SM Megamall last week while we were doing groceries and <b><span style="color: #274e13;">Greencross </span></b>put it in our cart immediately after seeing the glint in my eye! I haven't seen't this choco drink before, maybe it escaped my notice because I was looking at the opposite aisle where my favorite milk is usually placed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi64O528ISnPiPUKRCbuqnGM0KVDpsNQB89MFgNxOBEJ57negLztMKfU9lt0pT0JfKeWCBORQj_oK8jPHIDL6SAJg-LukZcxclssT-B1wXomCvM8NNjmLCCmz1JBQWz2WcTtYiuZglVmYs/s1200/IMG_5557.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi64O528ISnPiPUKRCbuqnGM0KVDpsNQB89MFgNxOBEJ57negLztMKfU9lt0pT0JfKeWCBORQj_oK8jPHIDL6SAJg-LukZcxclssT-B1wXomCvM8NNjmLCCmz1JBQWz2WcTtYiuZglVmYs/s640/IMG_5557.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
We just opened it last Wednesday and I keep on opening and closing our little refrigerator cox it is soooo good! Look, it has a little portion on the top box that makes it immediately superior to any prepackaged drink: You mark the "cup" according to which date you opened it. I marked the Wednesday cup!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJASkUULfiU3BWG9pa7OPPFw52e6GYhaal_MgdwvWnCfjfRZcn3GwkMNo5WqlurhPDO3a7cIUSyWgg2pd-LkxbXfu64prQOwIFw31-4jG4_Cio9VmzWZSQXk0SUN6_L4-ZH5yLEOpRqf9r/s800/IMG_5558.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJASkUULfiU3BWG9pa7OPPFw52e6GYhaal_MgdwvWnCfjfRZcn3GwkMNo5WqlurhPDO3a7cIUSyWgg2pd-LkxbXfu64prQOwIFw31-4jG4_Cio9VmzWZSQXk0SUN6_L4-ZH5yLEOpRqf9r/s640/IMG_5558.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Pretty helpful if you don't want to chug down stale drink. Then again, if you're like me, this will not last a week. (I had to keep myself from finishing it in a day.)<br />
<br />
The 1-Liter pack costs about 69.00 which is way LESS than the other, popular brands of choco drinks. And apparently, it has finely ground oats!<br />
<br />
Hmm, really? I didn't know "oats" can be drink-able, technically.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<br />
Apparently, some awesome magic can turn oats into pure, silky chocolate drink! It is really as smooth as it looks! No particles detected! It was so creamy and chocolatey but maybe because of the finely grained oats, it has that "full body" feel that you don't get when it's just water, choco powder and milk!<br />
<br />
Ok, just because it is oats, and oats have lots of good things in it, doesn't automatically translate that this is a health drink. Maybe they can claim that they're healthier than the regular drinks, but I'm sure not by how much?<br />
<br />
I'm too concerned about quelching my chocolate craving to think even think about "healthy" things! But for anyone who might be interested, here's the Nutritional Facts:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hCb9LerNofM/UdaONenD0TI/AAAAAAAADBk/w-UFh50mu3g/s840/IMG_5564.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hCb9LerNofM/UdaONenD0TI/AAAAAAAADBk/w-UFh50mu3g/s400/IMG_5564.JPG" width="380" /></a></div>
<br />
And following that, the ingredients list, of course. Notice that instead of suggars, there's Maltodextrin instead. I don't know it that's a good thing or a bad thing.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAFT8tdY0Zm145BL8s7hTIeq5mx-MDhSFht5DJmHmadXE6CoNtSJd9yJy9jPNwhD4ZF27lm4tYk5oLc0jfp5pHkR1M9CkcllC6DyWvI5pOhF0NnaOwAac4-uQi9kHXNzBM1QYowGP4Zs8/s600/IMG_5567.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="226" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAFT8tdY0Zm145BL8s7hTIeq5mx-MDhSFht5DJmHmadXE6CoNtSJd9yJy9jPNwhD4ZF27lm4tYk5oLc0jfp5pHkR1M9CkcllC6DyWvI5pOhF0NnaOwAac4-uQi9kHXNzBM1QYowGP4Zs8/s400/IMG_5567.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Oats is in the Top 5 ingredients, so I guess there's a lot of oats in there!<br />
<br />
You know, this is really good. I finished what's left in the carton today! I'm posting this as I chug the last drop. And yes, definitely buying as a weekly treat for us!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KbpwplpkTJQ/Udabcm-UzDI/AAAAAAAADCA/LLBLmJp-0aw/s1200/IMG_5568.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KbpwplpkTJQ/Udabcm-UzDI/AAAAAAAADCA/LLBLmJp-0aw/s640/IMG_5568.JPG" width="426" /></a></div>
<br />
Let me know if you can recommend me other awesome drinks like these; Or if you'd like to share your favorite drinks too--chocolate, vanilla, coffee or whatever! What's your "weekly treat"?<br />
<br />
P.S.<br />
The carton has been recycled to be used as one of my "herb pots"! Next post, I will share about my new acquisitions: Potted herbs! How cute are those? I have 3 now!<br />
<br />
See you then!<br />
Take care~ </div>

I've been bit. Travel bug.<br />
<br />
Darn... it bites hard.<br />
<br />
I want to travel the entire world today. I feel like going on a travel rampage ever since I've started settling down in this city. Before I moved here I used to be a real settler, you know, the kind who's absolutely content at spending an entire lifetime in one place. Maybe it's the move that made me ballsy--I realize that even if I uproot myself, nothing bad will happen to me, the world won't implode, my family wouldn't fall apart (yeah because I'm <i>suuuuch</i> an important member!) and my life wouldn't go haywire.<br />
<br />
I've been meaning to do start on international travel a year ago, but due to troubles with my nephew, my Japanese visa went unused :( I was quite looking forward to it. I had my travel money saved up, a checklist of all the things I need to bring, travelogues and maps, and I even had entire <i>playlist</i> ready.<br />
<br />
I haven't quite moved on from that disappointment, yet, I believe.<br />
<br />
Traveling the world is not just an option, as I told <span style="color: #274e13;">Greencross</span>, it is a must. I can't <i>not</i> go away. And it's not just because I just want to have the experience of going out of the country; No, I'm not focused on the geography. I want to go away because I want to see humanity's diversity of culture, manner, architecture, literature and language. And most of all, I want to see the lands where my favorite books were set.<br />
<br />
If you frequent this my book blog, <a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">The Contemporary Reader</a>, one of my earliest post included: <a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/2009/01/theres-nothing-more-fitting-for-as.html" target="_blank">Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres</a>, <a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/2009/02/greatest-love-story-ever-told.html" target="_blank">Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen</a>, and <a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/2009/03/facts-behind-yann-martels-short-stories.html" target="_blank">The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios by Yann Martel</a>. These are the three books that I want to visit. Literally visit.<br />
<br />
MY TRAVEL BOARD<br />
<br />
<b>1. Captain Corelli's Mandolin</b> is supposed to be set in the beautiful island of Kephallenia (Cephallonia) (Κεφαλλονιά), Greece, and it is the largest of all the Ionian islands in the western part of the country. In the book this is where Pelgaia, the heroine of de Bernieres' story lived with her Papa, Dr. Iannis, and where she met the steadfast soldier with a musician's heart, Antonio Corelli. It was never said in the novel what town they lived in, but according to Wikipedia and supported by other readers, "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cephalonia#Literature_and_film" target="_blank">The book is believed to be inspired by the picturesque village of Farsa, just outside of Argostoli</a>"<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" height="167" src="http://images16.fotki.com/v383/photos/8/880231/6534448/IMG_4804panorama-vi.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" title="" width="640" /></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Farsa: quaintly beautiful, sloping, sprawling</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span id="goog_176349511"></span><span id="goog_176349512"></span><a href="http://public.fotki.com/Anagr/kefalonia/farsavillage.html/"></a></div>
<b>2. Pride and Prejudice </b>is the classic, beloved love story set in Hertfordhsire, England. This is where Mr. and Mrs. Bennet live with their five daughters. Elizabeth, the future Mrs. Darcy, loved to take long walks around the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire where Pride and Prejudice is primarily set.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://bookingbox.co.uk/sites/default/files/styles/slider/public/slider/Pegston-Hills-Hertfordshire.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="228" src="http://bookingbox.co.uk/sites/default/files/styles/slider/public/slider/Pegston-Hills-Hertfordshire.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Hertfordshire-- I'd love to talk a long, refreshing walk around the entire span of the town, too.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
Aside from Hertfordshire, I would love to visit another county in England. Derbyshire is where the magic happens. In the novel, Fitzwilliam Darcy and the Darcy family peerage own lands in Derbyshire and has an county estate called Pemberley, which is thought to be based on the real-life estate of Chatsworth House.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.uktourist.tv/?p=446" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://www.uktourist.tv/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/chatsworthhouse.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Like Elizabeth, when I first saw Chatsworth house, I too, thought: "...at that moment she felt that to be mistress of Pemberley might be something!"</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<b>3. The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios t</b>ells of a story of two close friends, one is struggling with how to cope with AIDS, an existential crisis and his mortality, the other trying to help by telling a story about an Italian immigrant family who lived in Helsinki, Finland. I normally don't like short stories, but this one was beautifully told with a lot of metaphorical injections and parallelism, so it stuck with me all through these years. I want to visit Helsinki; even though the story never said where exactly I'm sure being young, active people, the two friends might have operated in the city's downtown mostly. I'd like to try and discover Sweden because here's some opportunity in it for me though, so I shall wait and see about that, too!<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.archersdirect.co.uk/Uploads/Archers/coda/Esplanadi-Park-Helsinki-Finland-Scandinavia.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="226" src="http://www.archersdirect.co.uk/Uploads/Archers/coda/Esplanadi-Park-Helsinki-Finland-Scandinavia.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Esplanadi Park in Helsinki with a quintessential European feel</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
Oh, one could dream... and write the frustration away.<br />
<br />
I would not consider traveling a hobby (unless I'll be stinking rich, burning money with airplane gas is not the lifestyle I want to subscribe to!) but I want my travels to <i>mean</i> something. I realize now there's a reason why I didn't really want to go to places like Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia... They don't mean anything to me at all. I don't want to go to places <i>just because</i>. I want to say, "I want to go to X and Y and Z because... " with long-winded, excited, overanalyzed reasons hahaha!<br />
<br />
Books were my first windows to the world; They were the ones who taught me that there are different things in life I need to see.<br />
<br />
I want to broaden my perspective in life through literature and travel. My books somehow define me, I won't lie. They have been my constant companions that 'talk' to me about a lot of things when people didn't even want to try. I can reach out to them anytime I want to. They've been there through my saddest days, so I'd like to take them to happier places.<br />
<br />
Planning starts now. I'm kinda thankful I have a paying job that's enough to cover my <strike>ass</strike> expenses, because this is NOT going to be a PHP 50,000 vacation, surely. The last time I checked, the plane ticket to an airport in Cephallonia alone costs that.<br />
<br />
Please wish me good luck in my plans, and may the winds of travel take me to the places I want to go!<br />
<br />
P.S.<br />
If there's anyone reading this who's interested to volunteer for a 1-week organic farming activity in Sweden, let me know! Plane tickets/Visa on you but lodging and food is free.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hi everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
If you followed my other blog, you would know by now that <b>I'm in Manila </b>(<a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/2013/04/a-chuvanesscom-gift-to-welcome-me-in.html" target="_blank">A Chuvaness.com gift to welcome me in Manila!</a>). This is a crazy, hectic, fast-paced city--descriptions of which are the exact opposite of what I would describe my hometown, Davao City. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Greencross and I have pooled our resources to start getting rooted in this city. We are renting this small and neat condo in Soho Residential Condominiums. He has just landed a job and I dearly hope that I follow suit, too. I have a job that I've set my sights on; I really, really like the job so I'm hoping for the best. I don't have friends here in Manila, yet (except folks from Davao who are also here, thank goodness for them!) but I'm hoping that in the next few months, that'll change, too. I'll take to blogging in the meantime.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is one of the Late Bloomer blog projects I will start on: "<b>Healthy Hacks</b>", a series of posts dedicated to share with you some quick and healthy recipes that I personally make. This post has been sitting in my drafts for about a month now, as the ingredients were something I bought from Davao in an EcoFair (wah, I need to start sniffing out market fairs here in Mandaluyong)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
One of the few things I've observed from my friends living in a condo is that they are resorting to all kinds of canned food or ready-to-eat prepackaged meals. I sincerely doubt that what they are eating is healthy; I hope that it's all not junk, but I'm sure that eating spam and canned sausages for their daily breakfast may possibly skew the health balance in their body. I know that there's a lot of factors involving their choice of food, but if time constraints are a problem, there are so many easy recipes with low prep/cooking time!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
On today's Healthy Hacks, we have a healthy variation of granola bars! It's a pretty spiffy, natural snack when you want something that just sits in the refrigerator, waiting to be gobbled on. I love these <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2009/07/healhty-food-choices.html" target="_blank">prepackaged granola bars</a>, which are better as snacks than the usual chips and candies. B<b>ut the recipe I have is SO MUCH BETTER</b>. (Love your own! Hahah!)</div>

<br />
Above is the basic setup of your ingredients list. Here's the procedure:<br />
<br />
1. On a pot, heat everything except the granola/rolled oats and garnish over medium heat. Do not boil, just ensure that the cocoa/tableya and the peanut butter mixes well with the honey.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYMnKczoYPd7gphyphenhyphenDPsq3p8tR9G6ozjWDtsDLGRtNIod66iCuN0yS91OzFUh1LfGlZmsbuPtSEYJERA5LDCoowJcZ7Y8QJiyUT5Jmc4NWtnJaJiQZSVXOUrXaDB1d9ogMZZB4JeCgM6hw/s1600/Homemade+natural+granola+bars+organic+energy+bar+ingredients+natural+peanut+butter.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYMnKczoYPd7gphyphenhyphenDPsq3p8tR9G6ozjWDtsDLGRtNIod66iCuN0yS91OzFUh1LfGlZmsbuPtSEYJERA5LDCoowJcZ7Y8QJiyUT5Jmc4NWtnJaJiQZSVXOUrXaDB1d9ogMZZB4JeCgM6hw/s640/Homemade+natural+granola+bars+organic+energy+bar+ingredients+natural+peanut+butter.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
2. Take out the pot from the heat and pour into a square mold, or any heat-resistant bowl you have (I used Pyrex glassware) and mix in your granola mix.<br />
<br />
3. Mix the granola and honey mixture to ensure everything is coated well. Garnish with cornflakes, like I did. Or choose your own, really. Nuts are really great, and dried fruits as well. My sister likes her granola squares to have lots of cinnamon because peanut butter + chocolate + cinnamon is just her thing :)<br />
<br />
Cover the container and refrigerate. This lasts for about a week and a half in the freezer. I usually bring a piece if I go out and not want to have to buy junk. This makes me very full, because of the rolled oats and granola mix. It's also perfect as a protein fix because of the grains, and because of the peanut butter, too! It is chewy but with a little crunch. It's also absolutely great paired with <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/04/tea-kampai-to-skin-and-overall-health.html" target="_blank">tea</a>!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE_NACnt_TwjdJGCiOAfg3JBE1pj2ygKZEFLVnFbj_njnE4CIv73Ow0ikRiVpNinbivYSSGnOJvIKsMud8n51jYVSpjDWB1BGTfp8mwXOfsWgTq02q8ATnxVSBufyLwcg2fvGetbnzESo/s1600/Homemade+natural+granola+bars+organic+energy+bar+ingredients+(9).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE_NACnt_TwjdJGCiOAfg3JBE1pj2ygKZEFLVnFbj_njnE4CIv73Ow0ikRiVpNinbivYSSGnOJvIKsMud8n51jYVSpjDWB1BGTfp8mwXOfsWgTq02q8ATnxVSBufyLwcg2fvGetbnzESo/s640/Homemade+natural+granola+bars+organic+energy+bar+ingredients+(9).JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Just because we don't have a lot of time on our hands or that life is a little hectic shouldn't give us the license to take for granted the only thing keeping us alive and kicking: a healthy functioning body! I'll make sure that despite the many temptations to splurge on food in Manila, I will choose the one that's cheap and healthy! Making my own food is the best place to start.<br />
<br />
Thank you for reading!~<br />
Keep healthy!<br />

Hi Everyone!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wWSKF3uJ2Kg/UQ5k997eXaI/AAAAAAAACrk/f9oH5pgMOSQ/s1600/avalon+organics+essential+lift+contouring+eye+creme+organic+best+eye+cream+treatment+puffy+eyes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wWSKF3uJ2Kg/UQ5k997eXaI/AAAAAAAACrk/f9oH5pgMOSQ/s640/avalon+organics+essential+lift+contouring+eye+creme+organic+best+eye+cream+treatment+puffy+eyes.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I have bought something actually for the eyes. FINALLY! This is what I really need right now. I've been eyeing (ok, fine, enough puns! XD) this <b>Avalon Organics Essential Lift Contouring Eye Creme</b> since last year because...<br />
<br />
Look at those <b>Puffy Eye Puffs of Forever</b>:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bXjF_oESi78/UQ5lCcvKRwI/AAAAAAAACrs/DJomO7lg50A/s1600/organic+eye+treatment+eye+creme+cure+for+puffy+eyes+cream.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="456" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bXjF_oESi78/UQ5lCcvKRwI/AAAAAAAACrs/DJomO7lg50A/s640/organic+eye+treatment+eye+creme+cure+for+puffy+eyes+cream.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And for a more drastic zoom, please welcome the<b> tired-eyes-of-the-decade</b>:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-K9mCQTg8A9U/UQ5mc9T88MI/AAAAAAAACsw/Q2AZY9y9g9I/s1600/best+eye+cream+for+tired+eyes+treatment+droopy+lids+cure+puffy+eyes.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-K9mCQTg8A9U/UQ5mc9T88MI/AAAAAAAACsw/Q2AZY9y9g9I/s640/best+eye+cream+for+tired+eyes+treatment+droopy+lids+cure+puffy+eyes.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
My sleeping habits have been shot. Again.<br />
<br />
I've been looking for the best eye cream that does not sting, does not cause irritation, does not contain too much harmful chemicals and finally I settled that <b><span style="color: #6aa84f;">going organic was best</span></b>! The last eye cream I tried was the <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/04/chucking-these-out-quick-fx-eyelift.html" target="_blank">Quick FX Eyelift Eye Cream</a> (ugh yuck!!!) and the <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2009/08/skinfood-salmon-brightening-eye-serum.html" target="_blank">Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Serum</a> (no-follow through) and they all did nothing for me in the end.<br />
<br />
It is a great privilege for me to buy this thing because it is pretty darn expensive for just a small bottle, costing <b>PHP845.00</b> <i><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">canyoubelieveit</span></i>! The gift of beauty comes with a price, indeed! But I saved up for this splurge, so I hope it does its job of helping my tired eyes. I've always loved my double eyelid, but recently I wished I was a monolid!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
I'll be monitoring the results of the Avalon organics eye cream so stay tuned for that post! And I will also be getting a lot of sleep.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Take it from me, you need your <span style="color: #e69138;">beauty </span>sleep.</span></b><br />
Thanks so much for reading!~~<br />

Hi!<br />
<br />
February is here!<br />
<br />
Why so fast! Though it's only the first few weeks of the year, I am getting more and more stuff, which is great but surprising. I have several skin care items that were given to me as a trade-off with a friend that I bonded over skin care items. I received <b>The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Shower Gel </b>and the <b>Vanilla Bliss Hand Lotion </b>from her; she got this over the holidays but turned them over to me because she learned that I loved Cranberry and have always wanted to try that scent.<br />
<br />
I traded these for my bottle of Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask because she said she has always been itching to purchase it but never got the time to. Although I have to buy another mint julep, I think it's still worth giving up because my friend threw in a vanilla lotion for me-- because she didn't like the vanilla scent as well!<br />
<br />
Crazy girl, eh? But all the better for me!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bQhrD35XxbU/UQ5k44R5PYI/AAAAAAAACrU/_TSu05BJhL4/s1600/The+Body+Shop+Cranberry+Shower+Gel+moisturizing+soap+bath+gels+fruity+cranberries+smell.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bQhrD35XxbU/UQ5k44R5PYI/AAAAAAAACrU/_TSu05BJhL4/s640/The+Body+Shop+Cranberry+Shower+Gel+moisturizing+soap+bath+gels+fruity+cranberries+smell.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have just very recently tried the <b>TBS Cranberry Joy Shower Gel</b>. I love, love, love the scent that's straight from the bottle. It is an amazing cranberry smell that is more fruity than sweet. It's not overwhelming and it is a welcome burst of scent! I bought a fluffy loofah for this so I can scrub the shower gel all over my body and found that when you use the gel, the scent goes <b>from fruity cranberry to a solid, barky cranberry</b> that is so awesome because it doesn't smell so cloying. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is pretty popular in our household because the person who showers after me always exclaims that the bathroom smells so wonderful! Right now, my niece also uses this because she loves the scent and it <b>moisturizes well enough without having that slippery feel</b>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ja8XgIU9C8o/UQ5k8bZAMjI/AAAAAAAACrc/tj-FsaBwUac/s1600/The+Body+Shop+vanilla+bliss+hand+lotion+body+moisturizing+moisturizer+vanila+vanille+scent.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ja8XgIU9C8o/UQ5k8bZAMjI/AAAAAAAACrc/tj-FsaBwUac/s640/The+Body+Shop+vanilla+bliss+hand+lotion+body+moisturizing+moisturizer+vanila+vanille+scent.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Another thing I got is the <b>TBS Vanilla Bliss Hand Lotion</b>. I usually use this at night after taking a bath. AI actually mistook this for a body lotion so at the first try I spread it all over my my hand and body and wondered why it was so creamy? I finally realized it was a hand lotion but whatever!<span style="color: #e06666;"> I love it so so so much</span>! The scent is a vanilla au lait kind of thing. I still use it on my arms and shoulders because I just HAVE to smell the vanilla scent before I go to sleep; it's like aromatherapy for me now! I don't think I can have a well-rested sleep without smelling it on me hahaha!<br />
<br />
What I'm worried about is running out of this lotion. Both the Cranberry Joy and Vanilla Bliss are Christmas exclusives / holiday specials :( If I run out of this lotion before this year's Christmas my sleep is doomed! XD With this lotion, I sleep better at night and I wake up with soft skin!<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #b45f06;">Thanks so much for reading!~~</span></b><br />

<br />
Quite a lot? Or are these not so much? All I know is that this lot is far prettier compared to <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-silly-little-makeupskincare-stash.html" target="_blank">My Silly Little Makeup/Skincare Stash 2009</a>!<br />

<br />
As you can see, I have a lot of powders. I have currently about three. It helps my oily face quite well. The two were given to me by family members as a gift, and the princessy rose container I put a random milled powder in (as I divulged in a previous post) so technically I bought only one powder for me.<br />
<br />
I also have two face bases, the BB cream which I bought and the Majolica Majorca Skinlingerie my sister bought for me. Yes, I received MM eyeshadows and blushers from my family because if you have 4 sisters like I do, you know they know the deal XD<br />

Above is my skincare stash that's quickly running out. Check out my deodorant too! XD<br />
<br />
Well that's it! XD Nothing much to see here. But recent developments and more gifts have come my way from friends! Stay tuned for that~<br />

<b><i><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="color: #ea9999;">Happy</span> <span style="color: #f9cb9c;">new</span> <span style="color: cyan;">year</span>, everyone!
</span></i></b><br />
I sincerely hope that everyone is having a really good 1st of the month of the new year, because I sure am :D<br />
<br />
It's the time of the year when everything feels really fresh and new! A clean slate for the new year, as they all say. So today I'm going to post about what are the good, new things I have make-up and skincare wise.<br />
<br />
First up, I've finally purchased an <b>Etude Precious Mineral BB cream</b><br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Precious Mineral BB Cream from Etude which has SPF! Will my Kose Sunscreen become redundant? </td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Priced at around PHP700-PHP800. I commonly use BB cream or foundation whenever there's a special event, or if there's anything that I'd like to correct i.e. pimple spots or scar spots, or a darkening undereye area :( Instead of a concealer, I'd rather really choose a liquid foundation/bb cream to cover the spots because it's easier to blend, and I felt like I don't look so weird if I use this because it's close to my skin color. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

A couple of days ago I also bought a really really superbly cute powder container for only PHP149! It is my second purchase and was quite a steal, because it certainly looked realllllyyy good for its price. I have quite a bit of refill powders from random compacts so I strained the powder to make it finely milled enough to house in this princessy container.</div>

Shiseido MA CHERIE (マシェリ) Haircare Set Review<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
Hello dear readers! Thank you for paitently waiting until I was sane again! Sorry for all the ramblings *sheepish* I was at a rather weird spot for quite some time, a bad mental state in which I actually thought my stupid randomess was brilliant to share.<br />
<br />
Well, let me give you an apology in the form of a haircare review for a shampoo-conditioner-treatment set which I've been using for a few weeks now. And it's one of the<i> prettiest sets</i> from <b>Shiseido </b>yet!<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> </span><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace; font-size: x-large;"><b>Ma Chérie Airfeel</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: large;">Shiseido</span></div>
<br />

<br />
As mentioned earlier, I've been using this set *MOSTLY the shampoo* for a bit of a time, about 2 weeks now. I know I've been harping about going organic in both <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/05/choosing-to-go-organic-in-bathcare.html" target="_blank">hair and bath products</a> as well as <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/07/organic-skincare-brands-i-use-human.html" target="_blank">skincare and body products</a> but I'm just a girl! Look at that royal details and all that pink-ness. I can't possible pass up Shiseido Ma Cherie!? Because you know why...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
The Shiseido Macherie Set is responsible for the</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>softest hair I could have ever imagined:</b></span></div>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">My hair, right after showering. Towel-dried. Look ma, no comb!</td></tr>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Yes, it is that <b>outrageous </b>and <b>holy-moly</b> <b>amazing</b>! It has given me so much:</div>
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><b>shiny-ness, </b></li>
<li><b>soft-ness, and </b></li>
<li><b>light-ness </b></li>
</ul>
<br />
All in one go! Even if I said a year ago that <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-stopped-using-shisedo-tsubaki.html" target="_blank">I Stopped Using Shisedo Tsubaki</a>, I think that I would pledge my allegiance with Ma Cherie Airfeel. It is different from Tsubaki, mainly because of the Camellia oil content that tsubaki has, a lot of concentrated oil in that one which even with my thin hair, Tusbaki can heavily pack on the hair (product build-up is real, you guys!).<br />
<br />
So let's get to know these little Ma Cherie bottles more!<br />
<br />
<b>Shiseido Ma Chérie Airfeel Shampoo </b><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gWMstjK9faM/UNxgIExYGKI/AAAAAAAACgI/KcOHZPpaksQ/s1600/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo+Macherie+Ma+Cheri+PinkTreatment+Set.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-gWMstjK9faM/UNxgIExYGKI/AAAAAAAACgI/KcOHZPpaksQ/s640/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo+Macherie+Ma+Cheri+PinkTreatment+Set.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
Hee hee! I am almost halfway done. Isn't this the cutest little translucent pink bottle you've ever seen? I love the details too! Very Majolica Majorca / Jill Stuart though not as golden and sparkly but almost there! My Airfeel Shampoo is a <b>200 ML </b>bottle, which is not the full-sized version yet.<br />
<br />
The shampoo is a translucent pink, runny liquid that smells like roses and melons. If used solo, the fragrance doesn't last as long. But together with the conditioner or the treatment, the fragrance lasts FOREVER. Haha! It lasts quite long!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LYcBeZE_m3M/UNxgRk-9ErI/AAAAAAAACgQ/8iDHUFFCMRM/s1600/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo+Macherie+Ma+Cheri+Shisedo+Treatment+Set.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LYcBeZE_m3M/UNxgRk-9ErI/AAAAAAAACgQ/8iDHUFFCMRM/s320/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo+Macherie+Ma+Cheri+Shisedo+Treatment+Set.JPG" width="240" /></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QuP-lNyWfUA/UNxgaPU43JI/AAAAAAAACgY/52T3_1lK0Dw/s1600/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo+Macherie+Ma+Cheri+Treatment+Set.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-QuP-lNyWfUA/UNxgaPU43JI/AAAAAAAACgY/52T3_1lK0Dw/s320/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo+Macherie+Ma+Cheri+Treatment+Set.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NGOOf0maa5w/UNxgfEVWkoI/AAAAAAAACgg/jgcJBXly4fU/s1600/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NGOOf0maa5w/UNxgfEVWkoI/AAAAAAAACgg/jgcJBXly4fU/s320/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Shampoo.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This shampoo is pretty. I find that it is suitable for everyday use!<br />
<br />
<b>Shiseido Ma Chérie Air feel Conditioner</b><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wt4u2dKvQyE/UNxfZ8Sg3SI/AAAAAAAACfY/srYbcg_vNP8/s1600/Shiseido+Conditioner+Ma+Cherie+Hair+Condition+Macherie+Conditioners+Ma+Cheri.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wt4u2dKvQyE/UNxfZ8Sg3SI/AAAAAAAACfY/srYbcg_vNP8/s640/Shiseido+Conditioner+Ma+Cherie+Hair+Condition+Macherie+Conditioners+Ma+Cheri.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The conditioner bottle is more opaque pink and it still has the promo sticker on it because I don't really use it a lot (2x a week max!) and there's still a lot of product left in my bottle. This is also 200 ML same as the shampoo, and has the same gold embellishments that I love!<br />
<br />
The conditioner is a bit heavy and creamy, with a very light pink color. It spreads fairly easily, and it is not as oily as a Tsubaki conditioner.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tMfRNCYvR48/UNxffNw8yAI/AAAAAAAACfg/fZnIMOA0mj4/s1600/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Conditioner.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-tMfRNCYvR48/UNxffNw8yAI/AAAAAAAACfg/fZnIMOA0mj4/s320/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Conditioner.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is one of the very few conditioners that doesn't trigger my migraine! I usually don't apply conditioners because of the overwhelming, heavy texture they leave. My hair is already oily so I don't need much of it, just for maintenance purposes.<br />
<br />
<b>Shiseido Ma Chérie Moisture Treatment</b><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k7_oH7XFMYU/UNxgnL5ZfTI/AAAAAAAACgo/C9-bUFSEfik/s1600/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Treatment+Macherie+Treat+Cream+Ma+Cheri+Treat+ment+Set.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k7_oH7XFMYU/UNxgnL5ZfTI/AAAAAAAACgo/C9-bUFSEfik/s640/Shiseido+Ma+Cherie+Treatment+Macherie+Treat+Cream+Ma+Cheri+Treat+ment+Set.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh my glob! I have yet to use this! <span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">XDD</span><br />
I haven't the chance to use this tube yet, because the shampoo + conditioner combo is enough for me. I think this will be useful once a month, twice at most.<br />
<br />

But it looks so pretty as is! I am in love with the packaging, could you tell? <span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">XD</span><br />
<br />
<br />
The Ma Cherie Airfeel is a hair care killer! Using it, I feel so much lighter, no heaviness even if I did use the conditioner. The shampoo itself feels clarifying, and the conditioner is very mild but does the job so well, its nothing short of amazing.<br />
<br />
And for that, I give it <b>5 STARS</b>:<br />

Hello! Finally, a skincare and makeup related post eh?<br />
Got this Blog Tag from <a href="http://kmmyp.blogspot.com/2012/12/beauty-bloggers-tag-youre-it.html" target="_blank">kmmyp</a> on Google Reader :)<br />
<br />
Recently, I've been attending Christmas parties left and right. And what usually happens with these kind of parties is more often than not you are obliged to dress up. Company parties, business party get-togethers, that kind of stuff. It did get me thinking that I still suck at putting makeup on.<br />
<br />
<b><i>(1) When did you begin loving make-up?</i></b><br />
I started being interested in makeup mid 2009, when I was having a rough patch about myself and how I looked. I realized that I was the only one holding back on improving myself in the looks department. I used to think that only the inside counts. I still believe that now, but there's also no harm in making myself go the extra mile! I don't really love make-up per se, but it is an impressive tool in making me look decent for parties and formal events! Because on a daily basis, I put my sunscreen on and that's it.<br />

The first was on 2011. This was heavy makeup for me. Consisting of a face base, loose powder, blush, eyeliner, and eyeshadow! The second picture was just recently taken (last week's company Christmas party) and I realized that this was pretty light, compared to the makeup jobs some of my coworker had XDD But I like it enough because it changes my face without having to go to a dramatic transformation.<br />
<br />
<b><i>(2) How do you feel without make-up?</i></b><br />
I feel absolutely fine. I wear no makeup on a daily basis except for a very pigmented lip balm.<br />
<br />
<b><i>(3) What do you like about make-up?</i></b><br />
I'm not huge into it but I would like to be. It's nice to learn useful stuff like this, as event makeup artistry is a lucrative freelance job for some people! On a personal note, I like it when eyeliners define my eyes. I like it when the skin on my face looks really smooth and fine with a face base. I like it when my cheeks have a peachy color. You know, the whole shebang.<br />
<br />
<b><i>(4) What are your three of your holy grail make-up items?</i></b><br />

I've been putting off recognizing December like an old friend I don't want to particularly acknowledge right now. It's one of my favorite months, yet for some reason this year's take on December kinda sucks. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Pablo's Path of Destuction</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Particularly this typhoon that hit Northern Davao pretty hard. It really sucks you guys, and there's not enough rice and packed viands I could donate for people whose homes, family members and livelihood have been taken away. Aside from food, our household is now pulling out various items that typhoon survivors can use: used but still sturdy and clean foam beddings, extra jackets, shoes, towels, toiletries, container bags, and more food. And lots and lots of water.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
To think that our city is just a couple hours drive away, we only experienced rainshowers (though heavy), and quite a bit of urban flooding. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do if it gets worse. I think I am ill-prepared.</div>

<br />
This just in:<br />
<i style="font-weight: bold;">Devastation II </i>a.k.a the Paquiao-Marquez Fight. :Oh, Did a tree just fall down--OHMYGODTHATWASPAQUIAOWTF!". But that's all said and done. Good fight. GG. But suddenly everybody's all up on their high horses about the fight. And don't you just get that feeling of bile rising up your stomach everytime someone forcefully chimes in with yet another two cents on a boxing match. <i>Kesyo </i>he lost because of his religion, or lack thereof, his political career, next album, his other distractions and I'm all like, "Dude, shut up! Your comments are irrelevant! Are you a sports analyst? No? Then talk to a fucking punching bag! Shit!"<br />
<br />

<b>Christmas Decors</b></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
At home, it is our tradition to always have a Christmas tree setup. Doesn't really mean anything but we love it because it is so pretty and festive and reminds us to always be cheery and bright!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
And for the first time ever......... I was the one who bought our family tree! A huge first for me. I feel so matuuuuuure. I like being able to buy it myself so I get the chance to pick sprightly decors according to what I feel like having! And boy was it colorful! I also bought a very sprightly faux pine!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Donuts</b></div>
Birthdays are celebrated with a lot of sweets, right? I mean, it's pretty obvious, nobody gets a sour bag of limes to celebrate happy occasions. But instead of cakes, we opted for a crowd-pleaser: Krispy Kreme's Holiday Assortments. I love that little custard filled white donut.<br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
Family meals are so wonderful, don't you think? A lot of us are suckers for desserts; That's why they were invented, because we need an excuse to eat sweets despite us being full from the main course XD<br />
More celebrations underway with one of my co-workers s and I am on the my tipsy way to ...<br />
<br />
<b>Drunktown</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is my face when drunk and relaxed. I tend to feel sleepy when I'm already tipsy. In the past I wasn't like this. When I was tipsy, I resorted to laughing and goofing around. But I'd prefer feeling sleepy; this prevents me from doing weird things that drunk people regret in the morning!</div>

<br />
<br />
It is wonderful to capture a smile, but all the more when you witness that single smile bloom to a wide, happy grin! This is the very reason why I delved into videography together with my friends: to frame special memories as they happen 30 or 60 times per second ;)<br />
<br />
<b>History:</b><br />
Two of my (many) hobbies are <a href="http://www.opencolleges.edu.au/courses/photography/" target="_blank">photography</a> and videography. Surprise, surprise. I have special memories that surface when I look back at my introduction to <a href="http://www.opencolleges.edu.au/courses/photography/" target="_blank">photography</a> when I was 14 years old. What I proudly thought were artistic photos taken using my sister's Vivitar film camera--the prehistoric camera that you need to rewind counterclockwise before the shutter button can activate anything--were anything but.<br />
<br />
My photos were absolute crap, as you may have expected, but I was very happy whenever I got the chance to take it out and I always carefully saved my negatives (wow, I haven't used this term for so long) in an airtight ziploc bag, as well as my to-be-developed (!) rolls of film.<br />
<br />

<b>Now:</b><br />
Now, I am a part of a new videography team.<b> Solid Black Videos</b> is composed mainly of four very close friends who love photography, videography and visual arts; In the picture above, that is Magsy, Mike, yours truly (Canon is obviously my best friend!) and Dan, at the right. We've known each other for pretty much a decade and together we embarked on a profound experience of capturing on video happy brides and grooms, local artists, and a lot of special events. We do all this and more using our Canon DSLR and digital cameras.<br />
<br />
Videography is always more than just a profit-oriented business. It is a hobby, honed each time a camera is held. We're now even venturing into filmmaking. Hey, we're pushing the team's envelope here! Hahaha!<br />

Our team, Solid Black Videos, has but a good few videos under our belt and we have a lot of learning to do, and there's a lot of fun in store for us! Using Canon cameras have enabled us to be as creative as we can and to make people happy through presenting high-definition videos. There is no other camera we trust most. No other than Canon.<br />

It's been 2 months too late in updating this blog.<br />
And this update is not even a beauty post. Wait, no, why am I feeling apologetic? This is a personal blog after all. <span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><b>Continuous typing begins now</b></span>.<br />
<br />
It's DECEMBER. The month where suicidal tendencies rise as high as obnoxiously ostentatious department store Christmas trees. The year is ending, and it's time to reflect on things that has been bothering me for quite sometime.<br />
<br />
I've failed myself a couple of times in the span of my blog absence. You'd think that it takes a long time to make one stupid mistake up after another but noooo! I actually have the capacity to disappoint my family, my friends and myself in one go. I am grand slamming it up in the <span style="color: #8e7cc3;">Not Impressed </span>department.<br />
<br />
I told myself midway this year: STOP BEING ANAL!!! Shit, I even penciled in my activities from June to December. What?! Who plans like that? ANAL RETENTIVE SHITHEADS LIKE ME THATS WHO. When I plan my life like that I get so irritated at life when there are curveballs---wow I can't even adapt like a normal human being! And I feel like I'm about to shit flames when plans get cancelled lol insane lang?<br />
<br />
So I made a promise to myself to get rid of my organizer, <b>get rid of any notion that life happens according to my scheduler</b>. Because it doesn't. <i>Get better at curveballs, Aicha.</i> Love it. Live it. Shit happens. But don't say no to someone gifting you cute planner though!<br />
<br />
On a non-related topic: I am so scared of showing skin. I have no clue why but, maaaan, everyday I dress like a cross between a manly girl and a young boy. It gets especially worse because in the recent years I developed an aversion to tops that hug my body.<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif; font-size: large;"> You know wai?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlKgvGKGbTmxqqaHycTp8y0Hg4jqYBt3CMbNn_AU3S3E-sdXptU-HD0EtwJ1jI-YlSjtygNBOimwb8WJph33aL64pc4YjSlsELYFekcb5unrdyqrgDTVyaLt8_bKmbeuOp04CVgq9CVY0/s1600/aicha+amano+aichusyu+aichaamano.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlKgvGKGbTmxqqaHycTp8y0Hg4jqYBt3CMbNn_AU3S3E-sdXptU-HD0EtwJ1jI-YlSjtygNBOimwb8WJph33aL64pc4YjSlsELYFekcb5unrdyqrgDTVyaLt8_bKmbeuOp04CVgq9CVY0/s640/aicha+amano+aichusyu+aichaamano.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Trebuchet MS, sans-serif; font-size: large;">I am a fatso! Heya!</span> The owner of this body is repulsed at herself, what more other people? I think I should just spare them from looking at my developing fats!<br />
<br />
I want my skinny ass back. ;u;<br />
<br />
But I am really beautiful though. Evidence: (quite a "determined to be disappointed" face there, eh.)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ClsUaH4C7Fo/UL46c9v9FQI/AAAAAAAACRU/yTpcLkFpmsw/s1600/aicha+amano+aichusyu+aichaamano+aich.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ClsUaH4C7Fo/UL46c9v9FQI/AAAAAAAACRU/yTpcLkFpmsw/s640/aicha+amano+aichusyu+aichaamano+aich.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Am actually proud of myself for posting up a camwhore photo of myself. Don't remember taking one since June of this year. My resolution is to do more camwhores whether I like it or not.<br />
<br />
<b>I detest camwhoring quite a lot.</b> <span style="color: #e06666;"><b>Ironic as fuck.</b> </span>I especially hate solo camwhore ones! Whenever someone takes my picture I always NEED to have someone with me, too. I hate camwhore photos because I feel uselessly vain. There are a lot of vain people I know. I'm beautiful yes, I have good things; but I am human still! I still retain my weird insecurities about my caterpillar eyebrows and flat hair and thick lips to even venture into creating an entire Facebook album dedicated to my face.<br />
<br />
I see it everyday; <span style="font-size: large;">I don't need an album to validate over and over that yes indeed ladies and gents this is my face</span>. But I need to do it so I will have a lot of practice with how to present myself in photos. But I think I need to put on gunk like make-up so the next time I see myself in the mirror and in pictures I'd be all: "Hayyy girl dang u so interestin' lookin'..."<br />
<br />
To Myself: Next year, I want you to do the things you won't be able to do anymore. Dye your hair chocolate. Ombre it up with blue. Get piercings. But you won't because you're too safe and too square.<br />
<br />
Next post won't be as crazy as this one I promise.<br />
I will review a great deal about this chinese sweet tea I'm drinking. It's supposed to CLEAR YOUR SKIN by detoxifying those stuff inside your body and promote better digestion. Pretty cheap, too!<br />
Stay tuned for that!<br />
<br />
<strike>Until my next emotional breakdown.</strike><br />
Thanks for reading!</div>

Hi everyone! <i>September never stays this cold where I come from, and you know I'm not one for complaining...</i> Oopsie that was actually a line from a song from <b>Taking Back Sunday</b>! But it's pretty apt, since we've been experiencing cold, wet weather for two months now, and even until the budding month of September. And it's even unfortunate that a storm has ravaged the northern part of our country tremendously some few weeks ago. I was, and am really saddened about the calamity.<br />
<br />
Due to the weather, I've been staying at home more and more when the rain clouds are out and about. But during the cooler days Greencross and I enjoy walking to feel the cool breeze. We just walk around wherever, just like in the olden days when walking was a form of entertainment. There are times when we end up in the mall. And then I discover something new just like this product.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9zujsVhyH14/UA6ZrBRNTzI/AAAAAAAACE0/R8nbcBaqgwM/s1600/best+Nosepack+nose+strip+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9zujsVhyH14/UA6ZrBRNTzI/AAAAAAAACE0/R8nbcBaqgwM/s640/best+Nosepack+nose+strip+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" width="478" /></a></div>
<br />
<b>Glam Works Nose Pore Strips </b>were sold in Watsons where we ended up one day, and I've been meaning to search for a good nose pack since I guess scrubbing my nose to get the dirt out isn't really working as much as I'd like to. I've been using some nosepacks and nose strips for a while but they don't seem to cut it. Don't you just hate it when you look at your face up close and you see an ugly blackhead-peppered nose? Eww!<br />
<br />
Yes, it is gross, and it's hard to keep them away. I got the nose pore strips and when I arrived home I tried it. You will believe me when I say the Glam Works strips are pretty awesome in removing A LOT of dirt inside the pores.<br />
<div style="color: red;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b style="color: red;">WARNING!</b></span><br />
<br />
If you're in for a<br />
really bad<br />
picture<br />
of<br />
BLACKHEADS<br />
and<br />
WHITEHEADS<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I warned you! kthnxbai.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hX7ssyV_o8k/UA6ZpIXWpZI/AAAAAAAACEs/N9E2LFptkq4/s1600/best+Nosepack+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hX7ssyV_o8k/UA6ZpIXWpZI/AAAAAAAACEs/N9E2LFptkq4/s320/best+Nosepack+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9_CFfN_U5cA/UA6ZsvfAdGI/AAAAAAAACE8/LQ_J2k0_Ofg/s1600/best+Nosepack+remove+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9_CFfN_U5cA/UA6ZsvfAdGI/AAAAAAAACE8/LQ_J2k0_Ofg/s320/best+Nosepack+remove+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
That was pretty revolting, but I was ecstatic when I saw the results. I followed the directions:<br />
<br />
<b>1. Wash face</b><br />
<b>2. Wet the part of the nose where you're going to place the strip</b><br />
<b>3. Open a packet and separate the plastic from the white strip</b><br />
<b>4. Leave for 15-20 mins</b><br />
<b>5. Pull strip by starting at the tip of your nose. </b><br />
<br />
And viola, a strip full of disgusting whiteheads and blackheads! It hurts like a sucker when you pull it off, and if you have sensitive skin the patch of skin on your nose may turn pinkish or reddish. (my skin is sensitive to tactile pressure as I have a weird skin disorder called <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dermatographic_urticaria" target="_blank"><i><b>Dermatographic urticaria</b></i></a> which is not a big deal health-wise, but can be really weird! After the pore strips my skin raised up LOL)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xH9eCBumxXs/UA6Zn3cfnTI/AAAAAAAACEk/lJrYvJxFEMY/s1600/best+Nose+pack+nose+strip+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="335" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xH9eCBumxXs/UA6Zn3cfnTI/AAAAAAAACEk/lJrYvJxFEMY/s400/best+Nose+pack+nose+strip+blackhead+whitehead.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
But other than that I would definitely say that this is by far the best nosepack! I will be using this once a week (not a fan of the pain of pulling the strip and red skin lol)<br />
<br />
If you find yourself having fair weather and you'd like to walk around, make sure it is in the general direction of a mall with Watsons store! You can find this product and you will love it like I do. <br />
<br />
Thanks for reading!<br />
Take care of yourself!</div>

<b>I don't have a sense of fashion.</b><br />
<b>But I do have a sense of style.</b><br />
<i></i><br />
<i>But I'm pretty sure I don't look good at all!</i><br />
<br />
I am just really lost on today's fashion. I don't normally dress up for anything, but I am so sick and tired of being in jeans all the time. But I don't want to be just following trends because most of today's trends are really... <b>ugly</b>. I often feel lost in clothing boutiques when I try to find something that I will find nice. I can't find it.<br />
<br />
There is this movement called <b>ZAKKA STYLE</b> that stemmed from Japan. A quick google image would suffice to impress the earthy nature and the quaintness of it all. A related clothing style for Zakka is the Natural Style that I've come to grow and love.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCqej3wfgkhCV9AGy_Xyi1eiSgmTnYxjOeWNBVGm1cmVBKIUctiztNO8c-FMG7YIcOMp72ryf_VRWIs5rNzzQEFVccIAPYadyvo9lLAAwNcDIVc0ci-ZJoItlb5ONl9gUiIIr23wguWiE/s1600/Zakka+clothes+natural+style.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCqej3wfgkhCV9AGy_Xyi1eiSgmTnYxjOeWNBVGm1cmVBKIUctiztNO8c-FMG7YIcOMp72ryf_VRWIs5rNzzQEFVccIAPYadyvo9lLAAwNcDIVc0ci-ZJoItlb5ONl9gUiIIr23wguWiE/s320/Zakka+clothes+natural+style.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mo7q0LZuwK4/UA6Untal-JI/AAAAAAAACEI/ElPLX2Hrgtc/s1600/natural+style+shirt+skirt+stockings+cardigan+zakka.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mo7q0LZuwK4/UA6Untal-JI/AAAAAAAACEI/ElPLX2Hrgtc/s320/natural+style+shirt+skirt+stockings+cardigan+zakka.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
We all have that certain taste that defies logic sometimes. For me, it's
layering clothes. I am amazed at how put-together a layered outfit
looks when done right. I have very little interest in clothes, but I
want to choose clothes that reflect the level of comfort I want to feel.
And I love to feel comfortable even if it means I look really boring.
I've found some sources of inspiration that somehow gives me that "AHA!"
moments. <br />
<br />
I've searched high and low for Natural style which comprises of clothes that are already in my closet. I really don't want to shop for clothes anymore. My cabinet is really tiny (and inside my wardrobe is a bookshelf, so there's not a lot of space allotted for clothes hahah!) so once I do look for certain pieces of clothing, I make sure that it is made of high-quality and can withstand plenty of uses.<br />
<br />
There's a picture I saved on my Dropbox that gave me that AHA! moment. It is this:<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FclC5-SwIIE/UA1vZjjAVwI/AAAAAAAACDk/cvZdX-fRZ8I/s1600/natural-style.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="590" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FclC5-SwIIE/UA1vZjjAVwI/AAAAAAAACDk/cvZdX-fRZ8I/s640/natural-style.jpg" width="640" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">From the Mina Perhonen collection seen <a href="http://jollygoo.blogspot.com/2012/07/mina-perhonen-seasonal-book-autumn.html" target="_blank">here</a></td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
For me, it is pretty quirky! So I loved it immediately. It's not the usual outfit you see around here. I mean, it's hard to wear this in the middle of the day. But I'm glad that my place of work is SOOO COLD. And also, lately, there's a lot of cool clouds in the sky with splatters of rain. I guess I can get away with it so I tried this style with the clothes I currently have!<br />
<br />
<i><b>My Take:</b></i><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6rYlICstLKsUT_c2z9sKq8OXk4whmDITW64NK6nFkOC-bmywQPSEIM2qZ8mdVkzLKuafDduxbq0xDY2V2GXWKe8tdcMjEw8pgn6_btmf3U008S3tYwWzR9gqZyXpgVxAOpL9uyy0Iu1w/s1600/Natural+Style+Zakka+Clothes+Japanese.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="454" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6rYlICstLKsUT_c2z9sKq8OXk4whmDITW64NK6nFkOC-bmywQPSEIM2qZ8mdVkzLKuafDduxbq0xDY2V2GXWKe8tdcMjEw8pgn6_btmf3U008S3tYwWzR9gqZyXpgVxAOpL9uyy0Iu1w/s640/Natural+Style+Zakka+Clothes+Japanese.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
I like that I tried my best in staying true to the colors. It was so fun to wear this, I could almost sleep in it! Soooo comfy! :D Not bad~ <br />
<br />
I find that Natural Style is being who you are. The organic you. Not being
apprehensive if people will think you're being ridiculous. It may seem so for them because it's really not what's everyone is wearing, so you kinda "stick out" a bit. But it's not the attention I want or their criticisms. I want to feel comfortable... and that's it.<br />
<br />
I didn't even mind if I got a comment, "Oh, you're covered all over..." so maybe they find my clothes dowdy / not really pretty. And<b> that's a-OK</b>! I don't feel that I'm super pretty in this as well, just very comfy :D<br />
<br />
I hope I can scrounge up for more styles that I can use. It's wonderful to feel comfortable in your own skin and in the clothes you wear!</div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;"><i><b>Listening to:</b> "It's Time" - Imagined Dragons </i></span><br />
<br />
Hello everyone! This post is not exactly skin-care related, but I'd like to share something else tonight. Yes, it's a craft shop :) kind of weird, but you know my recently-aquired love for crafting and sewing, right?<br />
<br />
However nice Davao City is and its how accommodating its stores and establishments may be, hobby shops are definitely NOT dime a dozen from where I am. I can barely find things I want. National chains for school supplies and crafting items are not much help.<br />
<br />
But maybe that's my fault: I don't get out a lot. Well if I didn't go out last night for a dinner at <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Zabadanicafe" target="_blank">Zabadani Cafe</a> (<i>Grilled Syrian Chicken</i> is just too yummy to pass up!), I would never know that what I needed was right under my nose!<br />
<br />
A recently-opened shop called Paper Rock Scissors is one of my recent
finds. Located just a minute away from where I work is the hobby shop of
my dreams! It is so quaint and pretty and houses a lot of craft items,
scrapbooking materials, rubber stamps and so much more. <br />

I commend the owner for setting up this little shop. Items ranging from ribbons to stamps are the popular must-buys of Paper Rock Scissors. Not a lot of stores carry these, especially ones that you can PERSONALIZE! You can ask about their rubber stamp personalizing at the store. The owner is really friendly and knows her craft! (Pun definitely intended :p )<br />

Hello everyone! ~<br />
<br />
I am so glad to have some time today to share more about the organic/natural skin care that I use day after day. These are a product of my experiments, tests and from there I finally found some great things that I could use! Being a fan of <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/05/aicha-hearts-human-heart-nature.html" target="_blank">Human Heart Nature products that I purchased online</a>, I now moved on to incorporating more of their product lines ;)<br />
<br />
There are quite a bunch, right? I'm not crazy, these are mostly <b>sample sizes</b>. Also, I am hoping to trim it down sometime soon... I'm just trying out a variety to be sure what products works for me :)<b> </b><br />

<b>Human Heart Nature Products </b>(Left-Right) Reviews:<br />
<br />
<b>Tomato Extract Nourishing Facial Wash</b> (PHP <span class="regular-price" id="product-price-882"><span class="price">79.75 / USD </span></span>1.90)- This is a clear, runny gel-type wash that does not produce suds. It cleans so well but does not leave the face 'squeaky dry'. It has a gentle, fresh fruit smell that I really love, and helps me get rid of oiliness and dirt without a harsh feeling. This is a keeper until I try the Blemi & Orange Balancing Facial Wash and see if I like it (Balancing Wash is currently sold out all over!)<br />
<br />
<b>Tomato Extract Nourishing Face Toner </b>(PHP<span class="regular-price" id="product-price-882"><span class="price"> 99.75 / USD </span></span>2.30)- A wonderful toner that leaves the face dewy. It is clear and watery, with a bright, fruit scent that is not overpowering. I prefer the Balancing Toner over this, though, but this is still good if I need an extra boost for dry parts of my face and especially my neck area. <br />
<br />
<b>Citronella Bug Spray</b> (PHP<span class="regular-price" id="product-price-882"><span class="price"> 99.75 / USD </span></span>2.30) - I bought this because of the alarming incidences of dengue all over nearby towns. I purchased one for my little nephews and for myself as well--can't be too careful! This is oil-based and heavy. It has really potent citronella herb smell which mosquitoes hate but I like! I usually just apply this on some parts of my body like arms and legs. It definitely keeps bugs away, I stopped getting bitten! :) <br />
<br />
<b>Blemi & Orange Balancing Face Toner </b>(PHP<span class="regular-price" id="product-price-882"><span class="price"> 99.75 / USD </span></span>2.30) - Amazing, amazing, amazing! I can't rave about this product enough. I love it because after toning it creates a soft, non-dewy, natural feeling on my face. It keeps my oiliness low throughout the day. It works so well for me that I want to purchase the big bottle as soon as it is available. The scent of smooth citrus perks me up! It is easy to spread using a square cotton.<br />
<br />
<b>Moisturizing Day Fluid</b>
<span class="regular-price" id="product-price-783">
<span class="price">(PHP 149.75</span> / </span><span class="regular-price" id="product-price-882"><span class="price">USD </span></span><span class="regular-price" id="product-price-783"> </span>3.50) - A light and easy-to-spread moisturizer that lives up to the "a little goes a long way" hype. It is filled with 15 vitamins and minerals for the skin to enjoy so you can't really go wrong with this. Makes the face dewy but I don't mind, it makes you look glowing and pleasant! Scented with some natural herbs, it gives me some energy, somehow... I dunno :)<br />
<br />
<b>Sunflower Beauty Oil</b> - I have the large (PHP 249 / USD 5.90) and travel-size (PHP 129 / USD 3) variants. I keep the smaller one in my bag all the time. It is a clear oil which is amazing for almost everything skin-wise and it has no scent, too! It made my elbows smoother and somewhat evened out the tone (usually elbow areas are darker than other skin areas) I also apply this on my legs and feet at night. I take the small bottle with me to our very cold office so in case my lips get chapped I dab a small amount. I also use it as a hand cream hahah~ My skin definitely gets a lot of boost! I give credit to SBO for my smoother skin!<br />
<br />
<b>Healthy Lotion in Berry Bliss </b>- Tried the small sample size and LOVED IT SO MUCH that the next day I got the big bottle. I use this night and day, and it is so light and dries so easily on the skin (no greasy feel what.so.everrrr.) The lotion is not creamy as much as it is runny and has a white color with a strong zing of candied berries! No harmful chemicals, a lot of skin-friendly nutrients: <i>This is my lotion for life</i>!<br />

On the left side are my <b>DAY </b>products which consist of the face wash, toner, and moisturizer (if I'm really lazy I skip this which is probably bad!) and a light lotion for my arms, legs and body to keep the skin healthy.<br />
<br />
On the right side are my <b>NIGHT </b>stuff which mostly is the same but the<b> Sunflower oil</b> is heavier than the day moisturizer, and I have some Citronella natural bug spray and the Mint Julep mask (which I use 2x a week only or as needed.)<br />
<br />
I know that the Queen Helene Mint Julep mask is not 100% organic but it does have Kaolin Clay. I have wanted to try this product for so long. I used to be a seller of Queen Helene before, but I stopped because the product gets sold out almost all the time that I didn't even own a tube of it myself.<br />
<br />
I just recently applied Mint Julep mask last week because my face took a huge hit. Due to my very irregular sleeping habits and stress, my face is a wreck. Here I am with a lot of my pimples (very icky, sorry!):<br />

Well, thankfully my consistent application of HHN products and a follow-up reapplication of Queen Helene (Thursday) helped my skin recover fast! I still have some zits but not as many as before.<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Second application: Thursday (You know you love my clothes-clip-turned-hair-clip!~LOL)</td></tr>

I haven't been applying <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/02/homemade-glutinous-rice-powder-mask-and.html" target="_blank">face masks both sheet and DIY face mask</a> regularly like before since I practically have no time at all and I can't find a 100% organic sheet mask brand yet! But I am thankful that Queen Helene really works at keeping zits dry as fast as possible.<br />

<br />
An addition to my <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/05/choosing-to-go-organic-in-bathcare.html" target="_blank">organic bathcare routine</a> is the Lush Dirty Body Soap that Mike bought for me during our <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2012/07/aicha-in-manila-my-trip-highlights.html" target="_blank">trip to Manila</a>. I made sure that I used up my other organic soap before using this. It is a cute blue soap that smells of the cleanest fragrance of spearmint. It not only keeps your body dirt-free, it leaves a nice scent that settles nicely for quite some time!<br />

<br />
All these products are bought by me (or given as a gift!) Quite an aggressive switch from <a href="http://thislatebloomer.blogspot.com/2011/05/skin-care-regimen-update.html" target="_blank">last year's old skincare regimen</a>, don't you think? I'm trying to really make a stand that we should do away with a lot of irritants and chemicals in skin care. It is important that we use products that NOURISH and make our body happy and free from danger! Let's do our best~<br />
<br />
Whew!<br />
That was a long post; but that was for being away all the time and not being around more.<br />
Thank you for reading! See you~</div>

Hi Everyone! Today I'd like to share a new hobby and a simple DIY for headphone owners :)<br />
<br />
I'm working a 8-5 day job and a nightly side hustle writing gig, but that doesn't stop me from busying myself even more with different hobby projects and nonsensical things I cook up inside my room. I have recently found the urge to learn how to sew and make my own stuff, even though I am terribly rusty as the last time I picked up a needle and thread was in grade school for our home economics project. Aside from <a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">reading books</a>, <a href="http://aicha-amano%2Cdeviantart.com/" target="_blank">trying to learn how to draw</a> plus <a href="http://thecontemporaryreader.blogspot.com/2012/06/trying-my-hand-at-watercolors.html" target="_blank">paint in watercolors</a>, <a href="http://thecurrencyofeverything.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">discovering personal finance</a>, <a href="http://strawberryshortcut.tumblr.com/" target="_blank">my anime-watching pasttime</a>, and everything in between, I am not sure why I want to add DIY/Sewing on my list. But I found that it's pretty relaxing and gives a good feeling of accomplishment.<br />
<br />
My first venture was a<b> DIY Headset Cable cosy</b>, since I just bought myself my beloved AKG K44 Headphones a month ago and I'm pretty much inlove with it, but since owning this, I live in perpetual fear that something may happen to it. So, I made the cable cosy because the AKG has pretty long cables and it can get tangled and wavy pretty quick :( This is something done in just under 20 mins, so it's really not a huge project but this cosy is really helpful for me.<br />
<br />

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k8Rd3RhLQkw/UAISfYLaBWI/AAAAAAAAB_E/ym4ZO4c6R1w/s1600/DIY+Headset+Cosy+Sew.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-k8Rd3RhLQkw/UAISfYLaBWI/AAAAAAAAB_E/ym4ZO4c6R1w/s1600/DIY+Headset+Cosy+Sew.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">Procedure:</span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">1. Measure your the length of your cable and cut a matching length of strip of fabric. Fold the fabric lengthwise and baste or pin.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">2. Sew the ends of the fold. I used a horrendous backstitch! But it's ok nobody's gonna see it anyway. ;)</span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">3. Thread a crochet thread into a big needle and hook to one end, this will help in trying to turn your fabric inside out.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">4. Pull the crochet thread as you go. Slide the end out.</span></div>
<div style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">5. Insert the headset cable and,</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">6. Thread until it goes to the other end</span></span><br />
<br />
There! Finished! Here's me on a bright day, listening to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/playyouhousejp" target="_blank">GooseHouse JP</a> with the headset cosy.<br />
<br />
